Donate and Make a Difference

Thank you for your willingness to support our mission of providing vital assistance to those in need. Your generosity helps us bring hope and nourishment to individuals and families during challenging times. There are two ways you can contribute:

1. Monetary Donations

Monetary donations are a powerful way to make an immediate impact. Your financial support enables us to purchase essential items, cover operational costs, and expand our reach. To donate securely and conveniently, please click the button below. Whether it’s a one-time gift or a recurring donation, every contribution matters and makes a difference. We deeply appreciate your generosity. We have a big goal to build a brand new, state of the art, commercial kitchen. We have been serving out of a tent and portable reefer trucks and trailers since 2013 when our rented commercial facility was destroyed in a storm. Burt now that we are receiving more bulk foods, we must break down the items into manageable portions. In addition we also are now offering prepared meals, sides and desserts to our seniors as many of them no longer have the ability to cook. This makes an on-site commercial kitchen a true need. Any donations to this would be greatly appreciated.

2. Food Donations

In addition to monetary donations, we also gratefully accept food donations. Donating non-perishable food items allows us to provide nutritious meals to individuals and families in need. If you would like to contribute food, please follow the instructions below:

  • Food Drop-Off Location: You can bring your food donations to our facility at 6475 Parrish Rd. Please contact us directly for specific drop-off times.
  • Accepted Items: We accept non-perishable food items that are unopened and within their expiration dates. Some suggested items include canned goods (vegetables, fruits, meats), and other nutritious food items. Other items rarely received but much needed are personal care items (toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant, feminine pads, razors…) and household cleaning supplies (cleaning wipes, lysol spray, all purpose cleaner…)
  • Food Donation Guidelines: To ensure the safety and quality of donated food, please ensure that all items are properly sealed and packaged. Bagging or boxing the items is highly recommended to prevent any damage or spillage during transportation.

Your contribution, whether financial or in the form of food or other items, directly impacts the lives of those facing food insecurity and gives them hope for a brighter future. We are grateful for your partnership and dedication to making a difference in our community.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to Kelli Lieder, our donation coordinator at 804-932-3967. Together, let’s continue spreading hope, compassion, and nourishment to those in need.

Thank you for your support!
